Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno, menyebut Karimunjawa play1628 menjadi salah satu lokasi diving terbaik di Indonesia.
Hal itu disampaikan Sandiaga kala menjadi keynote speaker dalam acara Road to Indonesia Digital Conference (IDC) Asosiasi Media Siber Indonesia (AMSI), hari kedua Selasa (16/11).
Sandiaga mengatakan panorama alam yang indah di Karimunjawa juga menjadi daya tarik utama bagi kebanyakan wisatawan. Karimunjawa yang terdiri dari 27 pulau juga kaya akan biota laut, hal ini pun yang akhirnya mewajibkan para wisatawan untuk diving dan snorkeling.
« Karimunjawa merupakan lokasi diving terbaik di Indonesia, dan tidak kalah dengan lokasi diving lainnya di Indonesia. Karimunjawa menawarkan keindahan laut yang bisa menjadi daya tarik wisatawan. Tak hanya itu, Karimunjawa juga memiliki hewan endemik yang tak ada di tempat lain seperti elang dada putih dan penyu hijau, » ujar Sandiaga Uno.
Sandiaga menilai potensi-potensi alam inilah yang harus terus digali untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan di Karimunjawa. Terlebih, saat ini Karimunjawa masuk dalam salah satu dari empat Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN) selain Candi Borobudur, Sangiran, dan Dataran Tinggi Dieng.
Menurut mantan Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta itu, salah satu upaya meningkatkan pariwisata Karimunjawa adalam melakukan promosi secara digital atau memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.
« Misalnya dengan membuat konten video yang nanti bisa diunggah di media sosial. Selain itu, bisa juga dengan membuat aplikasi pendukung lainnya sampai penerapan pembayaran berbasis digital. Dengan Internet yang cepat, perangkat digital yang lengkap, video dan foto wisata menarik, ditambah narasi berupa tulisan dan audio yang baik terkait situasi objek wisata yang bersih, tentunya akan menarik minat wisatawan, » ujarnya.
Dalam diskusi bertajuk « Digitalisasi Pariwisata Karimunjawa », juga turut hadir Wakil Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Taj Yasin Maimoen, sebagai narasumber. Selain Sandiaga dan Taj Yasin, hadir juga Bupati Jepara, Dian Kristandi; Kepala Bidang Tata Usaha Balai Taman Nasional Karimunjawa, Sutris Hariyanto; dan Pengamat Pariwisata, Astrid Widayani.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Wagub Jateng, Taj Yasin, juga mengaku berbagai upaya telah dilakukan Pemprov Jawa Tengah dalam mempromosikan wisata di Karimunjawa, salah satunya melalui program Jateng on the Spot.
Melalui program tersebut, Pemprov Jateng menggandeng beberapa influencer dan blogger untuk mempromosikan Karimunjawa secara digital.
« Memang perlu effort lebih dalam mempromosikan pariwisata, tak terkecuali di Karimunjawa. Kita harus narsis untuk mempromosikannya, lalu diupload ke medsos seperti YouTube dan lain-lain. Itu sudah kita lakukan melalui Jateng on the Spot. Tidak hanya itu, kita juga memanfaatkan media-media promosi di luar negeri terkait potensi wisata Jateng, » ujar Taj Yasin.
Sementara itu, Bupati Jepara, Dian Kristandi, mengaku teknologi informasi memang sangat efektif dalam mempromosikan wisata di Karimunjawa. Meski demikian, ada satu kendala yang dihadapi dalam mempromosikan wisata Karimunjawa secara digital. Kendala itu tak lain adalah terbatasnya jaringan Internet di kepulauan ini.
